A family trade passed down four generations, now carried by a dedicated team who have been here longer than most of our machines.
It Started as Victoria Dry Cleaning Co
Our story begins in Singapore in 1947, when our family opened Victoria Dry Cleaning Co. What was handed down through the generations was more than a business: an eye for fabric, the habit of checking every garment twice, and the belief that your clothes deserve the same care as our own.
Astoria, Since 1995
In 1995 the business was renamed Astoria Dry Cleaning Services, and in 2026 it became Astoria Drycleaners Pte Ltd. Today we are a fourth-generation, family-run business with four outlets and our own factory. Every item is inspected by hand when it is checked in, then cleaned and finished by our team at the factory.
Quality Control, Step by Step
Intake, inspection, tagging, stain treatment, cleaning, pressing, final check — each stage is signed off before the next begins. When something needs a second pass, it gets one.
Technology Where It Helps
We have adopted newer cleaning methods and equipment as they have proven themselves, most recently on-site upholstery cleaning that brings the machines to your home. What has not changed is the manual inspection at the start, which is still the part that decides whether a garment comes back right.
Fair Prices, Kept All Year
Our rates hold year-round; we do not run a high season, and we do not pad an order with services an item does not need. That is how a customer base becomes a fourth generation of customers.
